  • The Melbourne-based construction company collapsed this week 

A Victorian construction company has collapsed placing the fate a slew of projects up in the air.

After a drawn out process, Apex Homes Australia, based in North Melbourne, was ordered to go into liquidation on the grounds of insolvency by the Supreme Court on Wednesday. 

Creditors includes a concreting business, Aerolink Property Group, which lodged a winding up application earlier this year citing a $46,200 unpaid debt against the company.  

Other businesses who have lodged a claim against the company include Home and Industrial Soil, Austral Group, ATC Co, the Commissioner of State Revenue and Bristol Roofing. 

BDO has been appointed as liquidator of the business.
