Seattle police are looking for the man who attacked a couple’s dog and stabbed its owner in the head outside a downtown McDonald’s over the weekend.

The incident occurred around 11:30 a.m. Sunday outside the fast food joint in the 1500 block of 3rd Avenue. Police found a 29-year-old man suffering from a stab wound to the head. Paramedics took the man to Harborview Medical Center with injuries that were not life threatening, a press release said. The suspect took off after the incident and remains at large. Cops are still gathering more information about what led up to the incident. A Seattle Police spokesman told the Seattle Times the injury was more like a slashing.
