And he sniped: “I think he’s lost his voice. I don’t think he’s got it anymore.”
He also said he would love to be a telly judge on a music telly show, adding: “I have enough experience to help people develop their talent.”
The British singing legends once shared the same manager before falling out.
In 2015, Sir Tom, 83, said of the Release Me singer: “Once a c***, always a c***.”
The cause of the rift is unknown. But Sir Tom’s alleged former mistress Charlotte Laws claimed Engelbert flirted with her in 1979.
She said Sir Tom “sat in stony silence” when she told him, adding: “I’m sure there was good old-fashioned jealousy there.
“They competed against each other for everything.”
On Thursday Engelbert, who lives in the US, revealed that he wants to play Glastonbury.
