Career Criminal Walks Free on Bond After Judge Blocks Him from Having Chainsaw: Report

Two teenage brothers in Louisiana are facing criminal charges after making social media posts that officials interpreted as suggesting possible violence, WBRZ-TV reports.

On Saturday, police in Gonzales arrested a 14-year-old middle school student who had posted a video of a gun and ammunition set to the rap song “Cold Case,” which has lyrics that reference violence.

“Let murder talk,” rapper JayDaYoungan says in the song, continuing:
“Cold case, we tryna leave that boy wit’ no face,
B***h, you gon’ f**k around and die, stay in your place,
Hold up, wait, b***h, you must wanna be a closed case,
My 23 slide opps block without no roller skates,
And, b***h, you know I keep one in the chamber,
If you move, I gotta shoot, on 23, b***h, I’m a slanger,
And we gon’ bust your f**kn’ head,
That s**t you said got you in danger.”

Concluding that the social media post contained “language insinuating the potential for violence,” officers searched the teen’s home, according to the Gonzales Weekly Citizen. However, police found the student did not have access to the gun that was displayed in the video and did not “have the means or opportunity to act on the insinuations contained in the video.”

Still, the teen was arrested and charged with terrorizing, according to WBRZ-TV.

On Friday, officers arrested the boy’s 15-year-old brother, a student at East Ascension High, after he made a Snapchat post that said “Yall don’t want me to come I just got a 17 been ready to blow dis bitch” along with a laughing emoji, according to WAFB-TV. Students alerted school staff, which prompted a lockdown.

Officers went to the boy’s home and found he had ammunition, but not a gun. The teen also has been charged with terrorizing.
