Ron DeSantis Announces Exit From The Presidential Race

DeSantis has made way for other Republican presidential hopefuls by dropping out of the contest for the party’s ticket for the 2024 election.
In a 4-minute video posted on X, formerly known as Twitter, the Florida state Governor announced his intention to no longer run for president while listing the reasons he ran in the first place.
Amongst all he said, DeSantis implied that his second-place finish in Iowa played a huge part in the reason behind his decision to drop out of the race.

He said, “Now following our second-place finish in Iowa, we’ve prayed and deliberated on the way forward. If there was anything I could do to produce a favorable outcome, more campaign stops, more interviews I would do it. But I can’t ask our supporters to volunteer their time and donate their resources without a clear path to victory.”
DeSantis noted, “It’s clear to me that a majority of Republican primary want to give Donald Trump another chance.”
The governor then endorsed Donald Trump, claiming that he is a “superior” choice to Joe Biden and better than fellow Republican Nikki Haley.
