The product features a novelty light that illuminates the bottle.

The recall was made as the light is powered by a button battery that has not been adequately secured and could be accessed by young children.

‘There is a risk of choking, severe burn injuries or death to young children if they gain access to the button/coin batteries and swallow or insert them,’ the recall notice warns.

‘Severe or fatal injuries can happen in two hours or less.’

The affected products have the lot code L23039GE2, which can be found at the base of the bottle.

Consumers are urged to dispose of the bottle safely or return it to its place of purchase for a refund. Those who were gifted the product are urged to contact Grey Goose Australia.
