Suspected thief freaks out stalking victims by rearranging their personal items during break-ins: Police

Police in Idaho say they have identified a man who has allegedly broken into the homes of his stalking victims and are asking for the public’s help in tracking him down.

Officials have identified Jacob Smart, 38, as the man they say is behind a series of burglaries that took place in 2023. The break-ins involved “a man stalking and entering female’s homes,” the Boise Police Department said in a press release Thursday.
