Pro-Palestinian protesters swarmed three bridges and the Holland Tunnel in Lower Manhattan, blocking off traffic and creating chaos late Monday morning.
Demonstrators from the “Shut it Down for Palestine” rally marched through City Hall Park before groups of them descended on the bridges and tunnels, police said.
Just after 10 a.m., 40 demonstrators were on the Brooklyn Bridge, 12 on the Manhattan Bridge, 75 on the Williamsburg Bridge and 70 within the Holland Tunnel, the NYPD said.
There was no immediate word of arrests.

Video posted on X shows a group standing in front of the entrance to the tunnel, holding signs declaring, “Lift the Siege of Gaza, Ceasefire Now,” as well as “End the Occupation, Free All Palestinian Prisoners, USA Stop Arming Israel.”
“Free, free Palestine!” the assembly yelled.
