Active shooter reported at Iowa high school

Police swarmed an Iowa high school early Thursday amid reports of an active shooter.

Multiple law enforcement agencies were called to Perry High School at about 9 am following the reports, WHO13 reported.

The streets surrounding the school have been blocked off and multiple ambulances are on scene.

The Dallas County Sheriff’s Office confirmed there is an active shooter investigation.

Officials haven’t disclosed any further information.
