Tatum made her acting debut in the 1973 film Paper Moon starring alongside her famous father.

Griffin O’Neal

Like his famous family members, Griffin O’Neal became an actor born on October 28, 1964.
In his early years, Griffin starred in the 1976 film Nickelodeon alongside Tatutm and Ryan.
Additionally, he’s appeared in April Fool’s Day, The Wraith, and his last acting credit, the 1992 film Soulmates.
While not much is known about what Griffin is up to today, the actor is said to live next to the border of Mexico, according to multiple outlets.
Patrick O’Neal

Patrick O’Neal is a former actor and sportscaster born on September 14, 1967.
Growing up, Patrick appeared in an array of films and shows such as Beverly Hills, 90210, Die Hard 2, and his last acting credit, the 2007 film Wild Hogs.
While acting, Patrick began working as a sportscaster for Fox Saturday Baseball in 2005.

Now, the former actor works as a play-by-play commentator covering the Los Angeles Angels for the network.
When his father died, Patrick broke the news in a touching Instagram post revealing how much Ryan O’Neal meant to him.
Patrick wrote: “My father Ryan O’Neal has always been my hero. I looked up to him and he was always bigger than life.”
He went on to say Ryan was “the best and most loving and supportive dad, and I am just so lucky to have had him. We loved playing/watching sports together. Some great frisbee throws on the beach that would last all weekend long. For years. That was our bond.”
Redmond O’Neal

Redmond O’Neal is Ryan’s youngest son whom he shares with the late actress, Farrah Fawcett.
Born on January 30, 1985, Redmond has worked as a voice actor for an array of shows including Johnny Bravo, Love Don’t Cost a Thing, and The Brave Little Toaster Goes to Mars.
As of 2023, Redmond has been in the California Department of State Hospitals Metropolitan location in Norwalk since 2019.

Over the years, both Ryan and his children have been candid about his estranged relationship with them.
In a 2009 interview with Vanity Fair, Ryan said: “I’m a hopeless father.
“I don’t know why. I don’t think I was supposed to be a father.”
Ryan’s rocky relationship with his children was highlighted by the Oprah Winfrey Network in the docuseries, Ryan and Tatum: The O’Neals.
It revealed that his daughter, Tatum, and her dad hadn’t spoken for nearly three decades throughout their careers.
