An 11-year-old boy died Monday night after he was found unconscious with a shoelace around his neck at an Upper West Side migrant shelter, police and law enforcement sources said.

The unresponsive child was found by authorities around 5 p.m. in the lobby of the Stratford Arms Hotel, which houses migrant families.

A shoelace was found around his neck, according to police and sources.

The boy, who was living at the hotel, was rushed to Roosevelt Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The investigation into the incident is ongoing, though the medical examiner is expected to determine the cause of the death.

The hotel on West 70th Street booted single asylum seekers in September to make room for migrant families.
