An elderly man has been arrested after a woman was found dead in an Adelaide home, with police revealing they believe she was murdered late last night.

The 85-year-old woman was found dead in a home on Thornton Street in Findon, in Adelaide’s west, about 11.20pm.

Police have said they were called to the home “after reports of an incident”.

“The 91-year-old husband of the woman man was arrested at the scene and is expected to be charged later with murder,” police have said in a statement.
