All the details of ‘Golden Bachelor’ Gerry Turner’s engagement ring for Theresa Nist

They’re so golden.

ABC’s first “Golden Bachelor,” Gerry Turner, popped the question to Theresa Nist during Thursday night’s season finale of the hit show, presenting the 70-year-old widow with a stunning Neil Lane engagement ring.

Turner, 72, got down on one knee during the emotional episode, which saw front-runner Leslie Fhima, 64, “blindsided” as she was dumped in favor of New Jersey native Nist.

For the big moment, the “Golden Bachelor” lead turned to the franchise’s go-to jeweler, Lane, who created a “vintage-inspired” piece for the special proposal.

Per People, the 3.15-carat sparkler features a princess-cut center stone “accented with two baguette cut diamonds, and further set with 128 small, round brilliant cut diamonds.”

Lane, who “handcrafted and hand signed” the sparkler, told the publication that it was a special piece that stood out from other rings he’s created for the franchise.

“I think maybe we were losing the significance of a ring for a while, and now we have two people that really… that significance of the ring, even though it’s a small little jewel, it embodies their affection, their future, their lives together,” he told People.

“It’s more profound in a way… maybe it’s a different profoundness,” the diamond pro added.

Lane continued that Turner — who faced criticism this week after a bombshell story in The Hollywood Reporter alleged he dumped an ex-girlfriend after she gained weight — was drawn to the ring because it reflected aspects of Nist’s personality.

“The design, the elegance, it’s not simple, but it looks at first very elegantly simple on the top. But then when you hold it to the side you see how complex it gets,” he said.

Lane continued that Turner “remarked that’s the way he saw Theresa. Elegant. I wouldn’t say simple but easy. But then when you get closer, there’s such depth. There’s such warmth. There’s so much in the ring. There’s so much in her life.”

As for runner-up Fhima, she told Turner during the live finale that she was left “blindsided” by his actions.

“You made it sound like you chose me. You led me down a path and then you took a turn and left me there,” she said. “I wasn’t sure what changed or what happened.”

Although the first “Golden Bachelor” had to break some hearts along the way, he’ll get his happily ever after when Turner and Nist walk down the aisle in a televised special on January 4.
