DARYL Hall has sued his long-time bandmate, John Oates.
On Nov. 16, Hall filed a lawsuit against Oates in a Nashville court.

The duo have been together since 1970, scoring 29 Top 40 songs between 1974 and 1991. They were both inducted into the Songwriters and Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
Hall and Oates have had mountains of success together, generally being recognized as the most successful pop duo ever, so it makes it even more confusing why Hall is legally pursuing Oates.
So what is the issue between the two pop superstars? Well, no one actually knows.
The lawsuit is being kept completely under wraps and the file is sealed off from the public.

It is presumed that the lawsuit is being filed in Nashville as that is where Oates resides.
The duo haven’t been inactive lately, but they’ve definitely spent less time together in recent years.

They headlined their own festival together from 2017 to 2021, but haven’t staged it in the last two years.
Hall and Oates only played a handful of shows in 2022 and haven’t made a single appearance together this year.
Contrarily, they both have been out and about doing work individually.
Hall has been touring with Todd Rundgren as an opening act and has shows coming up in Japan and the Philippines. He also launched a webcast this month.
Oates has kept active in the Nashville music community, appearing in September at the Americana Music Honors show in September.
He also released a series of singles this year.
Fans of the duo shared their shock at the news on Twitter.
“Hall & Oates beefing was not on my 2023 Bingo Card. I mean damn,” one user said.
“Sad to see this,” another tweet said.
The Nashville Chancery Court and representatives for Hall and Oates did not respond to The U.S. Sun for comment at the time of publishing.
