PETER Andre has been left devastated after the sudden discontinuation of his favourite chocolate bar.
Earlier this month Nestle confirmed it had made the “difficult decision” to discontinue the Caramac bar due to low sales – and the pop star is not happy.

Discussing the loss, Pete wrote in his OK! Magazine column: “It was an absolute shocker to hear Caramac bars have been discontinued. What a disaster!

“I’ve heard other people have been going crazy about it too. I just keep thinking, “Imagine they got rid of Tim Tams for us Australians?” It may just be the end of the world.”
The Caramac bar is a caramel-flavoured chocolate bar – its name is derived from the syllabic abbreviation of caramel and Mackintosh’s which originally manufactured it.
The iconic flavour came into play in the late 1950s with other variations making their way onto shop shelves too including a limited edition Caramac Kit Kat bar and Caramac buttons.
A Nestle spokesperson told The Sun: “We are very sorry to disappoint fans of Caramac. There has been a steady decline in its sales over the past few years and we had to make the difficult decision to discontinue it.
“We know fans will be disappointed to see it go, but this change will enable us to focus on our best-performing brands, as well as develop exciting new innovations to delight our consumers’ tastebuds.”
