Now Megan, 37, has taken to her Instagram to continue to advertise the new career venture to fans.
The Transformers star took to her profile on Wednesday to share a series of photos of herself posing in a see-through brown top.
The Jennifer’s Body alum looked nearly unrecognizable with her new short bright red bob and full glam makeup.
Megan chose an electric red see-through nail color to match her vibrant hair, and she posed for a few selfies against a wood wall.
The mother of three covered one of her breasts with just her fingers, hiding herself just barely over the skimpy top.
The Tennessee native also included snaps of her wearing an oversized blazer with blue butterfly clips in her hair.
Megan flaunted her famous beauty and bright smile in the slew of new pics.
In a professional shot included in her collection, she gave the camera a sultry look while holding her new poetry book in her arms.
The sex icon added a video graphic at the end of the post to promote the book, entitled Pretty Boys Are Poisonous.
She captioned her post: “An author – my book is out link in bio,” with a heart and broken heart emoji.
RAVISHING IN RED
Megan nearly suffered a major wardrobe malfunction in the same outfit as she promoted her new book in New York this week.
The actress posed for photos donning the sexy ensemble before reading an excerpt from her poetry book, Pretty Boys are Poisonous, at Racket NYC.

In pics from the event, Megan sported the same sheer brown tank top with no bra and a high-waisted leather skirt that fell to her ankles.
She paired the look with black leather boot heels and her newly dyed fiery red hair.
The Jennifer’s Body star gazed sultrily at the camera while holding her book, which dropped on Tuesday.
Photos also captured her navigating through the crowd of fans who attended the special event.
SHOCKING REVELATION
Megan has made numerous revelations in her book – one being that she suffered a miscarriage with her fiancé, Machine Gun Kelly’s baby.
She detailed her ultrasound appointment for a baby girl at about 10 weeks, writing in one poem: “Maybe if I hadn’t… maybe if I had…”
In another, the Hollywood star continued: “I want to hold your hand / hear your laugh.”
And later on added: “But now / I have to say / goodbye.”
Megan also wrote about holding the baby girl “as they rip you from my insides.”
“I will pay any price,” the Hope and Faith alum wrote. “Tell me please / what is the ransom / for her soul?”
Last year, MGK – birth name Colson Baker – dedicated his performance at the 2022 Billboard Music Awards to Megan and their unborn child.
The actress opened up further about the heartbreaking moment in an interview with Good Morning America on Tuesday.
She admitted: “I’ve never been through anything like that before in my life. I have three kids, so it was very difficult for both of us.
“It sent us on a very wild journey together and separately trying to navigate what does this mean and why did this happen.”
Megan also revealed that MGK encouraged her to write and release the book, which includes over 70 poems, many about sex, abuse, rape, and murder.
