A young man died in a freak accident while washing his car at home.

The man, 27, was washing his sedan at his home in Mount Morgan in Rockhampton, Queensland, on Sunday afternoon when it unexpectedly rolled forward, striking him before crashing into a fence.
He was rushed to Mount Morgan Hospital where he later died.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
