A woman will spend a total of 30 years for murdering a housemate and driving the corpse out of state. The defendant, Courtney Dawn Gibson, 31, also received a concurrent sentence of 10 years in prison for tampering or fabricating with physical evidence, according to records out of Brevard County, Florida.

The case started back in February 2020 when Anna Primavere, 36, was reported missing from the home where she rented a room, say prosecutors in the 18th Judicial Circuit. Her car, phone, and other possessions remained at the residence, but her mattress was missing from her room.

The homeowner told cops that Gibson was also staying at the home, taking care of his child while he was out of town. He returned home to find the child alone — Gibson and Primavere were nowhere to be found.

Cops said that evidence showed someone cleaned up a crime scene. Officers suggest that the women got into some sot of confrontation that ended with Gibson killing Primavere.

Authorities found Gibson all the way over in Lebanon, Tennessee. And Primavere’s body was in her vehicle trunk.
