BACHELOR fans have swooned over Gerry Turner’s latest social media post.
Gerry, 72, is the first-ever Golden Bachelor and is looking for a second chance at love.

In a photo posted on Instagram, the ABC star posed next to the former Bachelorette, Kaitlyn Bristowe.
Gerry was all smiles while wearing a green button-down shirt with a pair of beige shorts.
Next to him, Kaitlyn stunned in a lowcut red dress that showed off major cleavage.
She had her hair pulled back into a ponytail and had her makeup touched up to perfection.

Gerry captioned his post: ‘Hi! There is a new episode of The Golden Bachelor tomorrow! Just a reminder.”

One fan wrote: “As much as I love to watch it, I dread the day that it ends. You have brought so much joy and hope to some of us who have never even had the chance at that kind of love.

Gerry (pronounced like Gary), 71, is a retired restaurateur from Indiana.

In July, he was announced to be the first Golden Bachelor.
Gerry’s bio on ABC describes him as: “often busy hosting barbecues, playing pickleball, cheering on his favorite Chicago sports teams, four-wheeling, and spending time with friends and family at restaurants and local haunts.”
Touching on his new quest for love, Turner told Good Morning America: “It’s never too late to fall in love again.”
Turner was previously married to his late wife, Toni, in 1974.
The two were married for 43 years before unfortunately passing away in 2017.
Gerry spoke to the hosts of Good Morning America about the life he had with his wife.
He said: “She got robbed. Every day that goes by, that’s the thought I have. I have her picture on a dresser in my closet. Every morning I give her the nod, ‘So what do you think about this?’
“For a while, it was like I was having a hard time figuring out if she would be OK. But we always told each other, when one of us goes, we want the other one to be happy.”
He and his wife lived together in a lake house in Indiana, Gerry still resides there.
STAYING PUT?
However, Gerry’s father, Everett, 91, revealed that his son may not move out of his Indiana home if he finds love on the show so he can stay close to his family.
In an exclusive interview with The U.S. Sun, Everett said: “I don’t think so. He likes Indiana. The house on the lake he bought for his two kids, so it’s probably where he wants to say.”
“I don’t think he would move,” added Gerry’s stepmother, Norma.
On the contrary, Gerry’s friend, Heather Lanning, revealed that he may move if he met the right person.
“I think he would move or have the woman move here. That’s all going to be based upon however that goes down.
I don’t think he would be limited to moving.”
