MADONNA isn’t shy when it comes to speaking her mind – often making me roll my eyes in the process.
But I’m pleased to report that unlike many of her pop counterparts including Beyonce and Taylor Swift, the singer at least puts her money where her mouth is when it comes to the planet.

Despite being worth a reported £700 million and one of the most famous stars on the globe, eco-warrior Madonna opted to swerve her gas-guzzling private jet in favour of commercial flight to the UK ahead of her Celebration Tour.
The delayed 78-date global trek kicks off in London next weekend with the first of six sold out show’s at London’s O2 Arena.
The singer stunned travellers as she boarded a standard red eye British Airways flight from New York to the capital along with her son David Banda.
Though proving she is still a Material Girl at heart, Madge settled down in First Class wearing over £3,500 worth of clobber including a £1,800 Vetements Limited Edition Hooded Bomber Jacket and a £500 pair of Balenciaga sunglasses.
Meanwhile, her army of dancers took up a large section of Premium Economy.
Upon arrival in the UK her troupe were then ferried up to an exclusive 5* hotel in Manchester via coach while Madge recuperated at her London mansion.

A source said: “She may forever be the Material Girl but for her journey to the UK Madonna tried to be as low key as possible.
“Passengers on the BA overnight flight were stunned as she and David took to their seats in First Class but no one bothered her.
“Everyone was in great spirits and her dancers happily posed for pictures with a couple of fans before settling down for the flight.
“They were making the most of their down time before hitting the ground running in Manchester.”
Earlier this week I told how Madonna’s Celebration Tour boasts one of the most spectacular set-ups she has ever delivered.
As well as multiple stages across the arena floor, the production includes several trapdoors and three giant screens.
Madonna is said to have been influenced by Post Malone’s Twelve Carat Tour which was heavy on strobes and pyrotechnics after she secretly attended his show last year.
The Vogue singer has rented Manchester’s entire 21,000-seat AO Arena so she can make sure everything runs smoothly with intense technical and dress rehearsals kick in the coming days.
The Like A Prayer singer, who is known for her militant search for perfection when it comes to her live shows, will then have less than 48 hours to iron out the concert in The O2 before doors open at the venue on October 14.
