Cleaning expert and home hack content creator Jessica May is sharing three scent-sational tips to guarantee your home smells amazing all the time.
In her candid TikTok, which has clocked over 34,000 views since June, May recommends making a simmer pot of lemon and herbs.
“Make a simmer pot using 2 cups of water, a lemon, rosemary, 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract & 1 teaspoon of cloves,” May wrote on the clip demonstrating the steps.
She promised the second hack would make your trash can smell like it was just bought from the store.
“Keep your bin smelling fresh with 1 cup of bicarbonate of soda and cotton wool soaked in essential oil,” she advised.
In the 14-second clip, she put both the bicarbonate and cotton pads into the trash can.
The last tip was simple, only requiring two items.
“Refresh your sink & make it shine by using half a lemon sprinkled with bicarbonate of soda,” she instructed.

She then showed herself using the lemon to scrub her sink clean.
The Post reached out to May for comment.
In another video, the UK vlogger offered a hack to make your bedroom smell just as good as the rest of the house.
She mixed some bicarbonate of soda and essential oil — the same blend she dropped into the trash can — and sprinkled it onto her mattress.
After a few hours, she vacuumed up the remains while claiming it makes the mattress “smell amazing.”
