Nineties girlband look unrecognisable 25 years after pop stardom

NINETIES girlband B*Witched looked unrecognisable 25 years from when they shot to fame.

The pop group – which is formed of twin sisters Edele and Keavy Lynch, and Lindsay Armaou and Sinéad O’Carroll – reunited to celebrate a quarter of a century since they found fame.

The fab four are best known for hits such as C’est La Vie, and Rollercoaster.

B*Witched was seen back together again to celebrate 25 years together.

They performed at Manchester’s Trafford Centre, and even wore double denim, which they were famous for back in their heyday.

They belted out all their famous songs, and even used an umbrella when they sang Blame It On The Weatherman.

Aside from the denim, the foursome looked different from the nineties, with Edele now sporting blonde hair, and Sinéad dark locks.

B*Witched was first formed in 1998 when Edele and Keavy – who’s brother Shane Lynch had already found fame with Boyzone – decided to start a group with their friend Sinead.

They enjoyed huge success worldwide, becoming the first act in history to have their first four singles debut at number one in the UK.

However, in 2002 after and touring all over the globe the band decided to split.

But in 2012 they reunited for the first time in ten years, and since then have regularly performed together again.

During their time away from the spotlight, they all went on to live quieter lives, and get married and have kids.

In 2013, Edele won Celebrity Apprentice Ireland and then the next year starred on Celebrity Big Brother.

Then in 2021, B*Witched appeared on This Morning and spoke honestly about how they felt after the band split in 2002.

They revealed the difficulties they faced when rebuilding their careers and identities after the rug was pulled from underneath them.
