Two people have allegedly been stabbed and a third assaulted at the Australian National University in Canberra today.

Police and ambulance services were called to the campus about 2.45pm after reports of a stabbing.

Three people were found injured, two with stab wounds and one who was allegedly assaulted, ACT Police said.

They have all been taken to hospital.

One person is in police custody.

Authorities are not looking for anyone else in relation to the incident.
