Product Safety Australia published the recall order for TOMY Australia’s Boon Flair Highchair in five colour combinations: white/orange (B731), white/blue (B707), grey/green (B10147), green/white (B704), and white/red (B708).

The bolts used to secure the seat can become loose and allow the seat to detach from the pedestal base.

This could cause serious injury to young children and Product Safety Australia said the defect had caused injuries overseas.

Customers are urged to stop using the highchair immediately and contact TOMY Australia for a free repair kid.

They will receive a set of bolts and split and flat washers to repair the chair.

The chairs were sold nationally online and through CoolKidz Australia from September 1, 2012, until December 31, 2015.
