A second body has been found after two fishermen were reported missing in the Snowy Mountains earlier this week.

Police were told two men, both aged 73, had not returned after fishing in Lake Eucumbene near Adaminaby on September 6.

Authorities searched the waterway and nearby bushland with divers, NSW Marine Rescue, SES volunteers and aircraft.

A man’s body was found at Eucumbene Dam on Sunday morning after an extensive search.

A report will be prepared for the coroner.
