Anthony Constantinou Wife – 41-year-old Anthony Constantinou is a British foreign exchange company boss who used investors’ cash to fund his luxury lifestyle. he was sentenced in his absence to 14 years in jail on 25 August 2023 over a 70 million pound ponzi scheme.
Anthony was found guilty of one count of fraud by false representation, two counts of fraudulent trading, and 4 counts of transferring criminal property. He skipped bail in April 2023 and the trial at London’s Southwark Crown Cout continued in his absence.
Anthony Constantinou was arrested with a false Spanish passport at the Bulgarian-Turkish border a week after he fled Britain but he was released by the police. Detective Inspector Nichola Meghji said in a statement,
“Officers believe he is now either in Turkey or Dubai, but he also has family connections to Greece and Cyprus.”
According to the judge, Anthony’s forex business was a typical Ponzi fraud and his lawyer declined to comment after the sentencing.
