The video shows a man driving with what appears to be a baby sitting on his lap when he was travelling between the Gold Coast Airport and Tugun on the Gold Coast Highway about 7pm on Wednesday.
The baby also appears to be gripping the wheel.
Shocked onlookers caught the incident on camera.

Queensland Police have been notified of the incident.
The punishment for having a child under the age of 18 unrestrained in a car is four demerit points and a fine of $1100.
