A man has died following a single-vehicle crash on a rural road in an early morning accident.  

The driver, a man believed to be in his 30s, died at the scene of the crash on Yarrabandai Road at Forbes, in the Central West region of NSW, at 7am on Sunday.

Police confirmed emergency services responded to reports of a single vehicle crash.

‘Officers from Central West Police District established a crime scene as they investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident,’ a statement from NSW Police reads.

A crime scene was established at the scene with authorities launching an investigation. 

Police will prepare a report for the coroner.
