Who are Latto’s parents?
Latto was born to Misti Pitts and Shayne Stephens.
There is not much information about her parents, however, her mother Misti is Caucasian, and her father Shayne is African American.
Latto reportedly stated that she was bullied in school for being bi-racial, thus, she adopted the name Miss Mulatto when she began her music career.
Latto was born on December 22, 1998, in Columbus, Ohio.
However, she moved to Atlanta, Georgia, in her teens.
Latto, real name, Alyssa Michelle Stephens, is a rapper and songwriter who began her professional career in 2016.

In Cosmopolitan’s July/August cover story, Latto told the publication that she is currently in “the longest relationship I’ve ever been in.”
“If something is special to me, I’m going to keep it close to me because everything else has to be front and center about my life,” she explained.
“I think we find the beauty in separation sometimes because it makes us miss each other. My privacy is more important [than seeing him in the crowd]. I can’t have people putting two and two together.”
When talking about trust, she told Cosmopolitan that she is so comfortable with her man that he has allowed her to be in her “soft girl era.”
“I think people will probably be caught off guard or shocked at who I am in a relationship versus my public persona,” she explained.
“Because people think I’m so tough because I’m super confident and dominant.
“In this relationship at least, I’m way more comfortable with taking the passenger seat and letting him lead because he lets me be myself—and I can still be my alpha self.”
Latto has remained quiet about her man’s identity but previously told Atlanta radio station Hot 107.9 back in January 2023 that he pays her bills.
While fans search for clues, Latto explained to Cosmopolitan that she loves to cook and he loves to eat.
“He loves when I make food,” she said.
“They be trying to crack on me online and he be dead laughing like, ‘What food ain’t good?’ That man cleans the bone.”
