Her words are coming back to haunt her.
After Lizzo was sued by three former dancers for allegedly pressuring them to participate in disturbing sex shows, an old interview where she talked about her interest in those types of performances has resurfaced.
While talking to 3FM’s DJ Frank van der Lende in 2019, the “About Damn Time” singer shared some details about her experience in the Red Light District of Amsterdam — which is known for its sex theaters, sex shops and nude clubs and bars.
“It was people f–king, man. It was crazy. But you know what, it was beautiful,” she said.
Lizzo described seeing a sex show where a couple was “passionately making love” and “kissing.” However, she admitted she was more interested in seeing a sex show involving fruit.
“But I’m trying to go to the show where you eat the banana out the p–y. Which one is that?” the Grammy winner, 35, asked van der Lende.
“It’s the Bananenbar,” he said, to which she replied, “Oh, that’s the Bananenbar? And they have the banana in the coochie and you have to go, [makes biting sound]?
“I need my potassium if you know what I’m saying. My puss-tassium.”
On Tuesday, Page Six obtained a lawsuit filed by three of Lizzo’s former dancers, who claimed she subjected them to a hostile work environment.
Per the doc, Arianna Davis, Crystal Williams and Noelle Rodriguez alleged the “Truth Hurts” singer invited them out to the Red Light District of Amsterdam during a concert trip in February 2023.

In the lawsuit, the dancers claimed that “things quickly got out of hand” after “Lizzo began inviting cast members to take turns touching the nude performers, catching dildos launched from the performers’ vaginas, and eating bananas protruding from the performers’ vaginas.”
Per the docs, Lizzo allegedly “pressured” and “goaded” Davis into touching the breasts of one of the nude performers.
The plaintiffs further claimed that, a month later, the pop star deceived them once more into attending a nude show, thereby “robbing them of the choice not to participate,” according to the court docs.
“The stunning nature of how Lizzo and her management team treated their performers seems to go against everything Lizzo stands for publicly, while privately she weight-shames her dancers and demeans them in ways that are … absolutely demoralizing,” the plaintiffs’ attorney, Ron Zambrano, said in a statement.
The plaintiffs are suing Lizzo, Big Grrrl Big Touring and the singer’s dance captain, Shirlene Quigley, for general and special damages, as well as punitive damages and attorneys’ fees.
After news of the lawsuit surfaced, Lizzo’s former creative director, Quinn Whitney Wilson, and dancer Courtney Hollinquest claimed that they also experienced similar treatment.
Additionally, documentary director Sophia Nahli Allison tweeted Tuesday that she witnessed first-hand how “arrogant, self-centered, and unkind” the musician is.
Lizzo has not publicly responded to the bombshell lawsuit and her rep did not return Page Six’s request for comment.
