‘RHONY’ Star Brynn Whitfield Tries to Use “Siri” and “Alexa” to Open a Fridge, Sending Fans Into Hysterics: “She Was So Serious”

With every passing week, The Real Housewives of New York City reboot just gets better and better — and that theory is only further proven on Sunday night’s (July 30) episode when Brynn Whitfield struggles to open a refrigerator door.

The hilarious moment comes toward the end of Episode 3, titled “Two Truths and No Shakshuka,” during the group trip to Erin Lichy‘s fabulous Hamptons residence. Despite Jenna Lyons secretly opting to spend the first night at her own oasis in the area and Whitfield showing up late to the game, there is no shortage of fun moments among the women.

In the scene, the ladies head out to the fire pit, leaving Whitfield in charge of bringing out the alcohol. With no one else in sight, the newbie reality star is left confused as she goes up to Lichy’s white, handle-less fridge and commands it to open.

“Siri, open the door,” she says as she knocks on the fridge. “Oh shit. I fucking hate the Hamptons. Um … Alexa. How do you open this shit?”

When she finally figures it out — accidentally opening the door as she presses on it — she mumbles, “White people are so weird.”

Meanwhile, fans of the show flocked to Twitter to comment on the brief, but utterly laugh-worthy, moment.

“Brynn trying to use Siri and Alexa to open the fridge door like plzzz 😭💀 I’m fucken dying like she was so serious,” one wrote, while another added, “Brynn saying ‘God, white people are so weird’ while trying to figure out how to open the fridge LMFAOOOOOOOO.”

A third person pointed out, “I really enjoyed last night’s episode. Brynn vs the fridge felt like classic #RHONY,” before someone else said, “Brynn calling the fridge Siri and Alexa to beg it to open 😆.”

The Real Housewives of New York City airs on Sunday nights at 9/8c on Bravo. New episodes are available to stream the next day on Peacock.
