And after 25 long years, we’re finally getting the inside story on what really made the world so obsessed with Beanie Babies with the new film The Beanie Bubble. Man, we’ve been a patient bunch!

New Movies & Shows To Stream This Weekend: Good Omens, The Beanie Bubble, Zoey 102 + More
When Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett’s novel Good Omens was turned into a Prime Video series, it was only meant to have a limited run, but it was so popular that it was renewed and its second season is now out. Also premiering this weekend on Paramount+ is Zoey 102, a feature-length movie that reunites the original cast of the Nickelodeon series Zoey 101 – but will Zoey and Chase rekindle their romance? And on Apple TV+, you can check out The Beanie Bubble, a movie that tells the story of the rise and fall of one of the most popular toys of the 1990s, the Beanie Baby.
New on Prime Video July 28: Good Omens (Season 2)
Its taken four years for the second season of Good Omens to arrive and, ironically, Earth has practically endured an Armageddon (okay, a pandemic) in that time. Michael Sheen and David Tennant are back playing the angel Aziraphale and Crowley who live on Earth and have tried to peacefully coexist to prevent the Antichrist from triggering the end of the world. In the new season, Jon Hamm reprises his role as the archangel Gabriel, who is now spending time on Earth for reasons even he has yet to figure out.
Like Tetris before it, Apple TV+ is bringing us yet another tale of an unforgettable moment in pop culture, the rise of the Beanie Baby. The Beanie Bubble, which premieres on Apple TV+ on Friday, stars Zach Galifianakis as Ty Warner, the man who started the toy company that would go on to create and sell Beanie Babies. Elizabeth Banks, Sarah Snook, and Geraldine Viswanathan co-star as the three women in Ty’s life whose support helped propel his bean-filled stuffed animals to stardom. Of course, along the way to massive success, there’s betrayal and backstabbing all the way till the Beanie Baby bubble bursts.
New on Paramount+ July 27: Zoey 102
Zoey 101 was one of the flagship shows on Nickelodeon during its run on the network in the early 2000s, so it was only a matter of time before it got a reboot. The show starred Jamie Lynn Spears as Zoey Brooks, one of the first girls to attend the formerly all-male Pacific Coast Academy. In the new movie, Zoey 102, the members of Zoey’s class, who include Zoey’s best friend, Quinn Pensky (Erin Sanders), her old love Chase Matthews (Sean Flynn), and Logan Reese (Matthew Underwood), are all reuniting for a wedding that becomes an unforgettable class reunion full of zany hijinks and also maybe even a murder mystery.
