Inspector Andrew Tracey from Queensland Police said the man fell six to 10 metres onto concrete and had to be rescued by crane.

“There’s a number of obstacles he’s struck on the fall,” Tracey said.

Cross River Rail is a new 10km rail line from Dutton Park to Bowen Hills in the city.
