Ron Perlman Warns Bob Iger To “Be Careful” As Strike Tensions Begin To Turn Ugly: “There’s A Lot of Ways to Lose Your House”

The announcement of the SAG-AFTRA joining the WGA on strike has Hollywood heated, even more beyond its current 90-degree temps. Ron Perlman is certainly fired up in support of his fellow union members, and is potentially coming for Disney CEO Bob Iger.

The 1987 Beauty and the Beast TV star’s appears to be in response to alleged comments made by a studio executive close to the AMPTP. According to Deadline, the exec said, “The endgame is to allow things to drag on until union members start losing their apartments and losing their houses.”

“The one thing before I get off this,” he began his video that has been shared on Twitter, directing his message to “the motherfucker who said we’re gonna keep this thing going until people start losing their houses and their apartments.”

“Listen to me motherfucker,” he continued. “There’s a lot of ways to lose your house. Some of it is financial, some of it is karma, and some of it is just figuring out who the fuck said that. And we know who said that and where he fucking lives.”

What may lead viewers to come to the conclusion that Iger is the video’s prime subject is what comes next.

“There’s a lot of ways to lose your house,” he added. “You wish that on people, you wish that their families starve, while you’re making 27 fucking million dollars a year for creating nothing? Be careful, motherfucker. Be really careful, cause that’s the kind of shit that stirs shit up. Peace out”

While Iger’s name wasn’t directly mentioned by Perlman, the key hint is in the mention of the $27 million annual salary, which Iger has previously made headlines for. Iger has also expressed his opposing sentiments to the ongoing strike, deeming it “disturbing” and “just not realistic,” per Variety.

SAG-AFTRA president Fran Drescher commanded the room of the SAG-AFTRA press conference on Thursday (July 13), saying, “We are the victims here. We are being victimized by a very greedy entity. I am shocked by the way the people that we have been in business with are treating us.”

The SAG-AFTRA strike officially began at 12:01 a.m. PT today (July 14).
