In 2023, Dirt reported that John and Patsy Ramsey bought the spacious home on a quarter-acre lot in Boulder, Colorado in 1991 for $500,000 and sold it about seven years later for $650,000, shortly after their daughter died. At that time, the home was bought by investors who changed the infamous property’s address and — given the high-profile nature of JonBenét Ramsey’s murder — made a number of other landscape changes over potential privacy issues.
Meanwhile, the Milners bought the home for around $1 million in 2004 and listed it for sale in 2008, 2009, and 2011, for a bit more than $2 million, and again in 2014 for a bit less than $2 million. According to Velvet Ropes, the exterior of the home looks much the same as it did when the property was thrust into the spotlight during the height of the Ramsey murder spectacle, but the interior of the home has been completely redone. It’s now surrounded by tall trees and protected by an iron gate.

Supporting the almost $7 million asking price, the multi-level home — made from red brick and white stucco — sits in one of the nicest areas of Boulder, near the University of Colorado Boulder and Boulder’s Chautauqua Park. It’s decked out with a media room, wet bar, wine cellar, and gourmet kitchen. University of Colorado’s speed, strength, and conditioning coach E.J. “Doc” Kreis rented the home for a time from 1999 through 2001, according to The Denver Post.
