The two victims’ name have not yet been released.

The impact of the crash was so violent that the car’s motor was forced through the engine bay and into the passenger compartment, 9News reported.

WA Police Inspector Vic Hussey said the accident scene was ‘very very confronting’, with the entire front of the Honda horrifically mangled.

‘The vehicle’s in a really really bad state and it was pretty hard for us to work out what sort of car it was when we arrived,’ he said.

Both teens in the car had to be cut free by emergency crews.

Mr Poppelwell also said there were three bangs from the impact, followed by people nearby rushing to the stricken vehicle.
