SARAH McLachlan looked unrecognisable while making a surprise appearance at a gig, 24 years after her 90s hit Silence.
The singer, known for her celestial vocals, appeared at a concert where Joni Mitchell was performing.

It was Joni’s first performance since the summer of 2000, and she was joined on stage by Annie Lennox, Brandi Carlile and Sarah.
Sarah sang and played the piano during the concert, and looked different to her band days with electronic music group Delirium.
The Canadian star is now 55-years-old, and rocks blonde hair.
She looked stunning on stage with her hair tied back and wore casual clothing as she showed off her musical talents.


Back when Silence became a huge hit, the singer was known for her darker locks which she styled in a shorter do.
Still singing, Sarah can be found on social media keeping her 158,000 followers up to date with her music.

Sarah and Delirium’s hit song Silence has seen a lot of remixes, reworks and remakes over the years.
The original song is known for its much slower tempo than the more well-known remixes.
It wasn’t released until 1999, two years after they released Karma.
Sarah married Canadian-born musician and drummer Ashwin Sood in 1997, but they went their separate ways just over ten years later in 2008.
The pair have two daughters, one named India Sood who has followed in her parents musical footsteps.
India is a singer-songwriter known for her emotional ballads and impressive vocal range.
India has a sister named Taja Sood, who is five years younger than her.
