KO Food Australia has recalled its Enoki mushrooms with the use-by date of July 15, 2023 due to an incorrect expiry date.
The infection may cause severe illness in pregnant women, unborn babies, neonates, the elderly, and immunocompromised individuals.

The general population can also become ill from consuming food contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes.
“Any consumers concerned about their health should seek medical advice and should return the product to the place of purchase for a full refund,” Food Standards Australia New Zealand said in a statement.
