Three people struck by car in NYC, one in critical condition: sources

A car struck three people in Manhattan on Sunday night, leaving one person in critical condition, sources said.

The crash took place near East 21st Street and 3rd Avenue in Gramercy Park at around 7:30 p.m., according to law enforcement sources.

Multiple people were injured when a car struck them. At least one person was rushed to Bellevue Hospital in grave condition.

Photos from the chaotic scene show one woman on the ground being helped into a neck brace by paramedics and another woman with an injured leg.

Paramedics were also seen wheeling a person in a stretcher to an ambulance.

Another photo shows a man with handcuffs slapped on him. No charges have been filed so far, sources said.
