According to E! News, the “The O.C.” alum recently endured a professional setback two weeks after commenting about her favorite sex position.

Known for her role as Summer Roberts on the popular T.V. series, Bilson has maintained a respectable presence in the entertainment industry. However, her recent comments about her bedroom preferences proved to be a misstep with far-reaching consequences.

In a May 15 episode of her “Broad Ideas” podcast, she said she was “baffled” that her comments made her lose a job she had already bagged.

“It’s been an interesting week, guys,” she began. “This is the first time it’s ever happened to me in my professional life that I lost a job this week because of said things.”

She added, “A job got taken away from me because I was speaking candidly and openly about sex in a humorous way on our friend’s podcast. I got a job I already had pulled from me because I was speaking openly about sex.”

“A single mom, a woman, lost a job because they were being candid and honest, and the subject was sex,” she said.

The 41-year-old actress discussed her favorite sex position and preferences while appearing on the “Women On Top” podcast. Bilson quipped about her go-to sex position and the one she tries to avoid.

She said, “I like a missionary. I’ve learned that to orgasm during sex, you have to be on top.”

“Missionary is my favorite. I want to be f**king manhandled,” she stated. The “Jumper” actress also divulged her least favorite position, giving the honor to “doggy” because “it can go so deep and hurt depending on the actual d*ck.”

Bilson’s public openness about her sex-related topics isn’t the first time it’s happened, as she previously stated on the March 13th episode of her “Broad Ideas” podcast that her first orgasm didn’t happen until she was about 38.

Despite losing the job due to her controversial comments regarding her favorite sex position, Bilson remained unapologetic and unfazed. However, she admitted that she could have changed her delivery on the subject.

She said the comments were meant to be lighthearted and not be taken at face value and also shared her pain on the missed opportunity.

“First of all, I said it jokingly in the interview, like, ‘Yeah, I wanna f**king get manhandled.’ It’s like, okay, give or take control in the bedroom, whatever.”

She admitted that her delivery could have been a little different from what it was, but she still maintained her stand on the topic.

“I haven’t said anything inappropriate,” she noted. “Choice of language, if I could go back, knowing I lost a job, maybe I would say it differently. But I still wouldn’t say it.”
