Prince Harry wastes no time flying back to US after King Charles’ coronation

He got out of dodge.

Prince Harry hastily left London less than an hour after his father King Charles III’s coronation ceremony ended Saturday, Page Six can confirm.

The Duke of Sussex, 38, rushed back to California in order to make it home in time for his son Prince Archie’s 4th birthday.

He was spotted at the VIP Windsor Suite in Heathrow Airport at around 3 p.m. local time.

Harry was in the UK for just over 24 hours, as he had just arrived on a commercial flight Friday.

The renegade royal spent the night at Frogmore Cottage — the property Charles kicked him and Meghan Markle out of earlier this year in order to gift it to Prince Andrew.

Despite ongoing family tensions, Harry attended Charles’ ceremony in what seemed to be an olive branch to his fellow royals.

However, the “Spare” author appeared to be snubbed on several occasions during the historic event.

He was seated in the third row of the pews at Westminster Abbey, where the coronation was held, alongside Princess Eugenie’s husband, Jack Brooksbank, and the late Queen Elizabeth II’s cousin Princess Alexandra.

The front row was reserved for working royals only, including Prince William and Kate Middleton.

Harry was also blocked by a giant feather atop Princess Anne’s hat.

While the duke headed back to the United States, other royals, including Queen Camilla, joined Charles on the balcony of Buckingham Palace.

A highly placed source previously told Page Six that there was “no way” Harry would be invited to the balcony appearance but noted that Charles, 74, “loves his son” and so “emotions of the day may just overtake everything.”

However, it seems Charles was too preoccupied after being crowned king and did not make one final plea to his youngest son to stay.

In California, Harry will reunite with Markle, 41, who chose not to attend the coronation and stayed in Montecito with Archie and 1-year-old daughter Princess Lilibet instead.

Royal biographer Omid Scobie recently revealed that the Duchess of Sussex skipped out on the grand royal event in order to “protect her peace.”

“[They] would rather the attention didn’t go onto her,” he also said. “If you look back at some of Harry and Meghan’s biggest problems, it was all down to the fact that the attention was always on them at times when it shouldn’t have been.”

Harry and Markle resigned from their royal duties in 2020 after marrying in 2018.
