After retiring from playing cricket, Mr. Desai began his career in coaching, starting as a coach at the MIG Cricket Club in Mumbai. She then furthered her career by taking up the coaching position of the Indian women’s cricket team.
Mr. Desai’s accomplished coaching experience extends beyond his home country, as he has also lent his expertise to the national teams of Afghanistan and Canada. Notably, in 2021, he was appointed as the batting coach of the West Indies cricket team.
