That Kelsey Grammer wed his fourth wife, Kayte Walsh two weeks after his divorce from Camille Meyer came through may be yikes-worthy, but it’s not exactly surprising. He’d already popped the question months before signing the papers.
In December 2010, a spokesperson for the “Frasier” alum confirmed to People that he and Walsh were engaged, and had been for some time, at that point. “They’re very happy and very much in love. They never announced it because he wanted to be discreet and enjoy the good news privately,” they revealed. However, early attempts at discretion aside, once the news was out, Grammer didn’t hide that he was planning a wedding. Au contraire, in a January 2011 episode of “The Late Show with David Letterman,” he told the host, “We’re planning to get married soon … some time in February.”

And that, they did. On February 25, the New York Times reported that they’d wed in none other than the Broadway theater he’d been acting in months prior, and that one of his co-stars had officiated the ceremony. It’s possible that particular detail stung a little for Meyer. After all, as she said in the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” Season 1 finale, “I thought this would be a good, positive thing for him, to go do a play on Broadway, but I never thought that he would leave me.” Yikes-worthy, indeed.
