Large-Scale Search Ends for Missing Minnesota Mom Madeline Kingsbury

Loved ones of a missing Minnesota mother are planning a community gathering as the search for her continues, KARE 11 reports.

Madeline Kingsbury, 26, was last seen on March 31 after dropping off her two young children at a daycare in Winona, Minnesota. Kingsbury is believed to have returned to her house after leaving the daycare with Adam Fravel, the father of the two children, and did not show up for work at the Mayo Clinic.

Police have described Kingsbury’s disappearance as suspicious and have conducted numerous searches throughout the area in the weeks since she vanished.

Kingsbury’s family is planning to hold a prayer service with the community at the Veterans Memorial Park bandshell in Winona at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, May 5, the Winona Post reports.

“The support from this community and beyond has been simply incredible, so let’s all come together in prayer and be the shining light that helps guide Maddi home,” an announcement of the event reads, according to KARE 11.

Authorities have been tight-lipped about the investigation and have not identified publicly what they have learned. Police have asked residents to search their properties and to report anything unusual.

As CrimeOnline previously reported, Fravel and Kingsbury lived together but they were no longer in a relationship, and Kingsbury was looking to move into a home when she went missing. Fravel has denied any responsibility for her disappearance.

Five days after Kingsbury went missing, child welfare authorities tried to take custody of the two kids. Fravel, who does not have custodial rights to the children, allegedly brought the younger child into a home, locked the door, and yelled profane statements at social workers, according to KTTC-TV.

Volunteers were scheduled to search an old Girl Scous camp on Saturday morning.

A $50,000 reward is being offered for information that leads to Kingsbury’s location.
