SHAKIRA has shared a mock-up Barbie poster to promote her latest hits – and throw some shade at her ex Gerard Pique.
The Colombian singer posted an edited poster of the upcoming film Barbie which is set to be released in the summer.

The pop star shared a number of other posters referencing her songs as they had the captions: “This Barbie is out of your league” and “This Barbie is Shakira! Shakira!”
But one poster was directed at her ex, showing the Hips Don’t Lie star in the blue outfit she wears in the TQG music video.
The photo states at the top: “This Barbie is orgullosa de ser Latinoamericana,” which translates to “This Barbie is proud to be Latin American.”
The comment is a reference to Pique’s comments about Shakira‘s background during an interview.

Earlier this month, the former Barcelona ace told streamer, Gerard Romero, how he and his girlfriend Clara Chia Marti were targeted by online trolls after Shakira’s diss songs.
The ex-footballer said: “My ex-partner is Latin American.
“You don’t know what I’ve ended up receiving on social media from people who are fans of hers. Barbarities.
“It doesn’t bother me, it bothers me zero, because I don’t know them at all, it’s people who don’t have lives.
“What importance do you have to give them?

“Zero importance, because you’re never going to get to know them ever, they’re like robots.”
His comments sparked outrage among the singer’s fans who claimed their hate towards Pique had nothing to do with their nationality.
A fan slammed Pique’s remarks, saying: “It’s a demonstration of the xenophobia towards us that Latinos that exists in Spain and only those living there can understand it.”
Another said: “I agree with several things Pique said but I don’t understand why he emphasised that his ex is Latin American.
“What has that got to do with anything?”
In response to her ex’s comments, Shakira simply wrote: “Proud of being a Latin American,” followed by emojis of 29 flags which included those of her homeland, Argentina and Brazil.
During his interview, the former Barsa star went on and even claimed diss tracks like hers could cause someone to commit suicide.
He said: “The subject of throwing beef is all very well, it’s fashionable, but we don’t think about the consequences it can have on a mental level for the person they throw it at.
“It works out very great for one person and it’s great, but we don’t think about the other person afterwards.
“What has to happen? Maybe someone commits suicide and we say, ‘Oh, we’ve gone too far?’ I’m very disappointed with what society is.”

Shakira has now started a new life in the US following her split with Pique.
She was seen on a house hunt across Miami amid rumours she is looking to spend up to $50million on a mega-mansion family home for her and her two sons.
