Tottenham Hotspur have been preparing for their Premier League meeting with Bournemouth on Saturday.

Cristian Stellini’s Spurs charges will hope to build on their 2-1 win over Brighton last time out.

Tottenham are just three points behind fourth-placed Manchester United, who have a game in hand.

Meanwhile, the 15th-placed Cherries will hope to pull further away from the bottom three.

On Thursday, the Spurs media team published photos from their latest training session at Hotspur Way.

Academy star Rio Kyerematen also featured in the session alongside the senior players.

Kyerematen has been in outstanding form for Tottenham’s Under-18s this season.

The 17-year-old has four goals and five assists from 14 Under-18 Premier League 2 appearances.

It’s even more impressive when you consider he mostly plays in central midfield.

‘Graceful midfielder’

Last month, the Tottenham media team likened Kyerematen to Christian Eriksen.

The youngster had scored the winner for Spurs in their Under-18 Premier League Cup semi-final.

Tottenham’s media team compared the encounter to the Spurs senior team’s League Cup semi-final second-leg draw at Bramall Lane in 2015.

On that occasion, Christian Eriksen scored a brace, including an 88th-minute goal, to cancel out Che Adams’ own two-goal haul.

The 2-2 draw, combined with Tottenham’s 1-0 win in north London, put Spurs through to the final against Chelsea.

‘It was eerily reminiscent of the 2015 League Cup campaign at first team level,’ began the Tottenham media team.

‘A tough semi-final away to Sheffield United with the snow falling, where a late goal from a certain midfield maestro booked our place in the final.

‘This time it was another graceful midfielder in Kyerematen who came up with the goods as we advanced to face Aston Villa in the showpiece final in a few weeks’ time.’

It’s great to see the Spurs coaches give Kyerematen more and more opportunities to train with the senior team.

He has outgrown the Under-18s and there’s no doubt he’ll be in the Under-21s next season.

Indeed, who knows whether Kyerematen could be earmarked for an EFL loan move already?
