Liverpool will face a hefty £53million outlay if they want to win the race for Nice midfielder Khephren Thuram this summer.
That is according to Foot Mercato, who report that Liverpool are ‘seduced’ by Thuram.
It’s added that Manchester City and even Real Madrid are keen on Thuram with Paris Saint-Germain also interested.
Nice aren’t exactly in a mood to sell their prized asset though and are allegedly demanding a hefty price tag.
The report claims that Nice want around €60million (£53million) for Thuram, pricing Borussia Dortmund out of a move.
Liverpool have already backed out of one midfield pursuit this week with Jude Bellingham seemingly not coming to Anfield.
The Reds won’t want to back away from another but will now have to decide whether Thuram is the man for them.

Khephren Thuram makes sense as Jude Bellingham alternative
Thuram – the son of former France international legend Lilian Thuram – has emerged as a star with Nice.
Formerly of Monaco, Thuram has become a quality box-to-box player who can also fill in as a defensive midfielder when needed.
Thuram has great size at 6ft 4in tall and has shown the athleticism to get up and down the pitch.
The Frenchman may be able to play a similar kind of role to Bellingham in terms of being all-action but maybe doesn’t quite have the enormous potential of the England ace.
Thuram has only scored twice this season and Liverpool would be looking to see him develop the attacking side of his game moving forward.
That may well emerge in the coming years but Liverpool will have to pay a huge fee to find out as Nice attempt to fend off major interest.
