This is the moment a van driver brandishes a steering wheel lock and appears to threaten another driver.
Footage filmed from another vehicle shows the tense scene unfolding on the M6, believed to be near Holmes Chapel at junction 18 of the motorway in Cheshire.
And the video, which is understood to have been filmed on March 31, has gone viral on social media.
The road rage incident took place as a large queue of vehicles were trailing behind the van.
As traffic prepared to leave the slip road, a man in a fluorescent jacket with the words ‘gas’ on the back leapt out from his blue Peugeot vehicle before approaching a van and seemingly attempting to unlock the door.

Without much success, he then starts shouting at the van and gesturing with his hands.
Seconds later, just as the man starts walking away, the driver of the white van, wearing a cap, leaps out.
He is seen brandishing a bright yellow steering wheel lock in his hands.
The pair then confront one another as the man in the cap walks towards the gas man and waves the lock in the air threateningly.
Both then walk away, before the man wearing the fluorescent jacket says something.
Once again, the man in the hat takes another swipe at the driver, narrowly missing him.
While it remains unclear what words the pair exchanged, the incident was over in 30 seconds, after which both drivers get into their respective vehicles.
