Though not princess cut, Olivia Culpo’s new diamond is certainly fit for a princess.
The former Miss Universe announced Friday that she had accepted Christian McCaffrey’s proposal — and in doing so, she also said “yes” to a massive Ring Concierge sparkler in the $100,000-to-$200,000 price range.
The fine jewelry company’s founder and CEO, Nicole Wegman, tells Page Six Style that the NFL star presented the retired beauty pageant queen with a five-to-six-carat oval diamond flanked by epaulette side stones surrounded by a platinum setting and finished with an ultra-thin gold band.
“We worked with Christian to thoughtfully design a ring that encompassed Olivia’s trendsetting style while still remaining timeless,” she explains of the creation process.
Though he opted for an extravagant ring, the groom-to-be chose to pop the question during the couple’s seemingly low-key road trip.

Surrounded by flowers, McCaffrey got down on one knee.
“♾️4.2.23♾️,” the pair captioned a joint Instagram carousel containing black-and-white photos of their engagement, including a shot of happy tears streaming down Culpo’s face.
“We tried to keep this quiet for as long as possible but apparently word travels fast,” the reality star added via her Instagram Story.
“I’m marrying my best friend. I love you so much, fiancé.”
The duo has been together for nearly four years. They first sparked dating rumors in May 2019 and made their romance official the following month.
