Roach shared a screenshot of his email from a Defaïence brand representative notifying him when the dress would be completed. In the image, a big arrow pointed at the email’s date. The email was dated “1/31/23”, and in the body was the time the dress would be finished and the brand’s address.
Alongside the screenshot, the image architect explained that the outfit was previously scheduled for the rapper. He wrote, “Y’all want to make me a liar so bad. A great stylist would always have a look ready and set to go months in advance. I got this for Meg as an option for Grammys, but she didn’t attend.” He ended the message with his displeasure towards the speculations. “I hate the internet,” Roach declared.
Roach’s clarification comes after pictures of the “Her” rapper in the breathtaking outfit he orchestrated at the CMT awards made headlines. Megan indeed dropped jaws in the Defaïence cobalt blue dress. The long dress had a high neckline and long sleeves and hugged her curves. However, the outfit had a dramatic twist to it.
The dress featured a cut-out at the hips held together by an ivory-colored buckle, revealing Megan’s skin. The 28-year-old rapper accessorized her look with matching ivory-colored hoops and bracelets and rocked a curly afro.

The rapper then shed more light on her relationship with the 44-year-old. In her words, “We don’t have a business relationship. It’s more like family. I will still bother him, and he won’t stop being my family. He’s just not going to be in my closet.”
